History repeats itself, more when it comes to Danny Green. The Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard already had a reputation of getting cold during the playoffs, when his team needed him the most. It happened with the San Antonio Spurs, last year with the Toronto Raptors and this one hasn't been the exception, with some Lakers fans even taking shots at the veteran guard.

With less than 10 seconds remaining on the clock, Green had the chance to give the lead to the Lakers and probably the title, but he missed a wide-open 3-pointer. The Miami Heat would win the game, 111-108, and criticism didn't take too long to flood social media, especially against Danny Green. He was trending on Twitter after the game and people started attacking him as soon as the game ended.

An old tweet from Green resurfaced right after the game, where he called himself out for missing a big shot and leaving his team in a bad position. At that time, the San Antonio Spurs were playing against the Oklahoma City Thunder for the right to make the Finals. San Antonio lost four straight games after taking a 2-0 lead in the WCF. The Thunder were inspired, but seeing Green's tweet, the Spurs had a bigger chance to win the series than we thought.

Fortunately, the Spurs would win a title with him on the roster in 2013. The Raptors did it last year, even though Green went cold, too. Kawhi Leonard took care of business and sent Toronto to the promised land.

NBA fans, as usual, went after Danny, trying to find an explanation for what happened in Game 5.

This year, though, the Miami Heat are doing things more difficult to the Lakers and now the series is 3-2. It still looks like a hard job to carry out but the Heat are a difficult team and if Green keeps missing big shots, the chances increase for the Floridians.
