Anthony Davis On LeBron: “I'm Still Trying To Figure Out The Lob Passes To Him. He'll Cut And He'll Be Open, And I Don't Think He's Open. But He's Like 'Just Throw It Up.’ And I'm Like ‘But You're In Year 17! You Don't Have It!’ And He Gets Mad At Me.”

Anthony Davis and LeBron James have taken the Los Angeles Lakers to be the best team in the Western Conference this season. Both players have developed great chemistry, but AD has revealed he’s still learning how to play alongside the King.

The 26-year-old forward sat down with NBA legend Steve Nash to talk about the adjustment to playing for a contender, his chemistry with LeBron James and his role on the team. AD explained what he’s still trying to figure out about sharing touches with one of the greatest players in history.

“I’m still trying to figure out the lob passes to him. He’ll cut and he’ll be open, and I don’t think he’s open. But he’s like ‘just throw it up.” And I’m like “But you’re in year 17! You not… you don’t have it!” And he gets mad at me.”

“But our chemistry clicked right away”

The Brow saw his life changed last summer when he was traded to the Lakers from the New Orleans Pelicans. AD went from a struggling team to one of the biggest candidates to win it all this season.

So far this move has paid off for everybody, including the Pels and the group of young players they got in the trade. As for Davis, he’s expected to lead the Lakers to the promised land this season alongside Bron, who is keen to bring another ring to the city of Los Angeles.
