Despite being a 2x NBA Defensive Player of the Year, Rudy Gobert became the most famous name in the league on Wednesday, after he tested positive for coronavirus, leading the NBA to postpone the game between the Utah Jazz and the Oklahoma City Thunder before announcing the indefinite suspension of the league.

A video surfaced showing Gobert touching the mics and recorders of journalists during a press conference, disrespecting the NBA protocol for this virus. Not only Gobert got infected by this virus, but also his teammate Donovan Mitchell.

It’s mandatory to say that the relationship between Mitchell and Gobert is very complex right now, and ESPN’s insider Adrian Wojnarowski has described how things are going for Gobert and his teammates.

"There is a lot of work to repair the relationship between Rudy and Mitchell. There's a lot of frustration towards Rudy among the Jazz players,” Woj said on if there's a rift between Mitchell and Gobert.

There is no doubt that the Frenchman’s behavior was completely irresponsible, as he put himself in risk and the people around him. Even though he issued an apology, NBA fans are fuming with Gobert and his attitude.

It remains to be seen how this whole story will continue developing, but things don’t look that good for Rudy. He’s affected his teammates and organization with his actions and the relationship between the big man and the Jazz could never be the same.
