Al Horford Has Agreed To 4-Year Deal With 76ers

Al Horford is on his way to Philadelphia to stay for the next four years, following a good tenure with the Boston Celtics. According to Adrian Wojnarowski, Horford has agreed to a four-year, $109 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, a team in need of another big man to help Joel Embiid in the paint.

The Dominican big man was a very coveted player during this open market, but now his future lays in the city of brotherly love, trying to help a young team of Philly to improve the things they did last season.

It looks like the Philadelphia 76ers have put themselves back on the contenders' list. They were expected to lose both Tobias Harris and Jimmy Butler in free agency, and even though they ended up losing Butler and JJ Redick to Miami and New Orleans, respectively, Harris stayed and is ready to take the team to the top of the Eastern Conference.

Of course, counting with Horford on the roster is a huge advantage for them, who look as strong as they were before Redick and Butler’s departure.
