The latest installment of ESPN's annual Top 100 players ranking struck more than a few nerves. Allen Iverson was one of them, openly expressing his disappointment about the ranking on Instagram.

Shockingly, he was left out of the Top 50 -- something he was obviously less than pleased about.

Iverson's point is certainly understandable. As an 11x All-Star, 7x All-NBA, and 4x Scoring Champ, there are few who can match up to that resume. He is considered one of the greatest scorers ever. So how is it that he was put so low?

One possibility could include his failure to secure an NBA Championship. Through 17 seasons, he only reached the Finals once. Additionally, his one-sided game and playstyle have often been scrutinized by critics for being unhealthy for his team.

Regardless, A.I has his reservations. His impact, dominance, and skillset definitely give him a case to be within the Top 50, at least. What do you think?

Is Iverson just a victim of his own pride, or does his resume simply speak for itself?
