Dion Waiters is having a rough season, no doubt. He has yet to play this season through the first 9 games, and this latest incident will ensure he sits out another 10.

After taking a "gummy" on the team plane ahead of Friday's game in Los Angeles, Waiters had a panic attack and passed out on the floor before later having a seizure when he woke up. According to information later revealed Waiters, he was given the gummy by a teammate but was unwilling to reveal his name.

"We are very disappointed in Dion's actions this season that include the very scary situation on Thursday night, and grateful that the outcome wasn't worse,” the team said Sunday in a statement. “There have been a number of instances this season in which Dion has engaged in conduct detrimental to the team. Accordingly, he will be suspended without pay for 10 games, including the Lakers game last Friday, and will be eligible to return after the Golden State Warriors game on Nov. 29."

It is costing him a suspension of 10 games without pay, so roughly $2 million.

Dion Waiters was selected 4th by the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2012 NBA Draft. Since then, he has yet to really live up to the expectations of being a lottery pick.

He averages 13 points, 2 rebounds, and 2 assists for his career. He turns 28 this December.

Wherever his career goes from here, it's fair to say he'll have to stay out of trouble from here on out if he wants to keep his spot in the NBA.
