As the newest member of Laker Nation, Anthony Davis seems ready to usher in a new era for his team. As a 6x All-Star, the 26-year-old big man will have big expectations hoisted on his shoulders.
But as he prepares for the season ahead, Davis reflected on the team's illustrious history -- citing his All-Time Lakers starting five: Magic Johnson, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, himself, and Shaquille O'Neal.
Magic, Kobe, and Shaq are kind of a given. Those guys achieved an unprecedented amount of success and glory with the franchise. What's more interesting is the inclusion of himself and LeBron on the list. Despite having spent less than two seasons with the team, Davis seemed confident in him and LeBron's placement.
LeBron's accolades certainly make him one of the best All-Time. As for Davis, he has career averages of 23.7 points, 10.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists, and 2.4 blocks. He has the third-best player efficiency rating of all-time, trailing only Michael Jordan and Bron.
No doubt, whatever A.D. or LeBron might think, they will have to prove themselves to the rest of the world this upcoming season.
