Barack Obama Tips Giannis Antetokounmpo To Have A Better Season Than Luka Doncic, Zion Williamson

The 2020/21 NBA season will be very important for certain teams and players that will try to prove a point and demonstrate they can compete against anybody in the association. Three young players that enter this season with huge expectations are Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson.

All three are expected to be fighting to be the face of the league in the future and this season will be very important for them. Giannis, Luka, and Zion have a lot of talent but people are already starting to doubt their quality to lead a team to the promised land. Antetokounmpo is the one with the biggest pressure this season and former US president Barack Obama has tipped him to have a better season than Luka or Zion.

During a recent appearance on "The Bill Simmons Podcast," former POTUS talked about a lot of topics related to basketball and when asked about the future of the league, Obama said that if Giannis can shoot consistently from mid-range, his game would reach the next level.

“I want to see if Giannis gets a mid-range this year. Everybody is worrying about Giannis getting a three-point shot. Giannis needs a twelve footer or fifteen footer. That’s what matters. If he does, then I think he’s unstoppable. If he has the same shot as a Karl Malone or even a Kawhi, where in crunch time, he can just pull up. Who is going to block that shot?”

Further, he believes that Luka is the most talented guy in the group if Giannis is unable to expand his game and scoring ability. But, he thinks that Zion is more fun to watch out of these three.

“So if he doesn’t develop it, then probably Luka just because more skillset. Although, Zion’s just more fun to watch.”

Obama knows plenty of things about basketball. He hasn't hidden his fanaticism for the game and every time he spokes about the NBA, his voice is heard. He nailed it with his description of what can happen with these three guys, although Zion has still a lot of room to improve.
