Baron Davis Says 34-Year-Old Kobe Bryant Could Have Led This Lakers To The Playoffs

The Los Angeles Lakers have ruined any chances of a playoffs appearance after a string of five straight losses which has them sitting very much outside the top eight. The team would need a miracle to turn things around, the Lakers sit 11th in the Western Conference with a very little amount of games to come.

Former NBA player, Baron Davis, was asked by TMZ Sports about the situation the Lakers are currently in. Davis had a unique response by stating that Kobe Bryant could have saved this team.

"You can't just put all the blame on LeBron, I think the Lakers got disconnected from what they was trying to do," Davis said. "Of course Kobe could do it, it's f*cking Kobe Bryant."

Kobe Bryant will always be one of the greatest players to ever play for the franchise let alone one of the greatest players of all time, but the way this side is playing right now, it’s unlikely that even he could turn it around.

Lakers fans all around the world would have loved to see Kobe and LeBron to playing at the club at the same time, unfortunately it just hasn’t worked out that way.

For once, we won’t be seeing LeBron James battling it out on the court in the postseason, the four-time MVP is coming off an incredible eight NBA Finals appearances in a row, so it’s quite a shock to see him miss out for the first time in a long time.
