Bill Laimbeer: "LeBron Is The GOAT Over MJ And Is Better At Involving Teammates To Win"

As a 4x All-Star and 2x NBA Champion, Bull Laambeer understands what it takes to dominate the NBA.

And perhaps no two players in league history have dominated at a higher level than Michale Jordan and LeBron James. When it comes to their place amongst league history, it's a topic usually nobody can agree on.

But for Laimbeer, the answer is quite clear. He made this case for Bron in an appearance on First Take.

"I'm very vocal, I think LeBron is the best player that's ever played the game. He's six foot eight, 285 pounds, runs like the wind and jumps out of the gym and, more importantly, when he came in the league, from day one, he knew how to involve his teammates to win -- and that's something that Jordan had to learn for a long time."

The basketball legend didn't mince words. In his view, Bron's ability to create for others and make the game easier for his teammates gives him a significant edge. With all the chips on the line, Laimbeer is picking Bron because he can light the team on fire unlike Jordan can.

Statistically, though, the edge appears to go to Jordan. He's a 6x Champion, 5x MVP, and 14x All-Star. He averaged 30 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.3 assists in his career. LeBron, meanwhile, has put up averages of 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. He only has three Championships and four MVPs.

In the end, it's something we will never agree on. But Just know that James isn't done making his case yet. He's got a few more years to go.
