Stephen Curry is back in the NBA trying to lead his Golden State Warriors to the promised land. Even though they won't have Klay Thompson this season, the Dubs are hopeful to have a good season this one, led by their biggest star. Curry already showed he's ready to take his team to the top of the league during the first preseason games, but the competition in the regular season will be different.

Still, the player is ready to bounce back after playing only five games last season, where he saw the Warriors win only 15 games and losing 50 matches. The talented point guard has a big responsibility but everybody within the organization is confident that Steph can still lead this team. One of those is Bob Myers, the Dubs GM, who has nothing but good things to say about Curry. Myers revealed the biggest strength he sees in Curry during a recent interview.

"One of my favorite things about Steph is he has real confidence in his abilities. It’s not fake, it’s real. I always tell him the best attribute you have is unwavering belief in yourself. You’d be shocked by the huge amount of insecurity among NBA players. The power the media has over players is enormous - hearing “you suck” or being ranked in a certain spot - that’s stuff that hits people, especially younger people. You have to fall back on what do I think of myself and my abilities? That’s the only way you’re gonna navigate this."

Curry is ready to prove everybody wrong when they say the Warriors can't compete without Klay. The 2x NBA MVP knows the responsibility is big but he's ready for it. Besides, he has the support of everybody in the organization, as Myers revealed.
