Even after a months-long hiatus, nobody was expecting many surprises today, when the first day of scrimmages begin for teams in the Orlando bubble.

But during Denver's match against the Washington Wizards earlier today, a surprise is exactly what the NBA community got when 7-2 big man Bol Bol, who has yet to play a minute of this NBA season, dropped 16-points in his debut.

His 16 point, 10 rebound, 6 block performance was so unexpected it caused some to question the motive behind a drug test that had allegedly been scheduled ahead of time.

Before people get crazy on the Bol hype train, it's important to note that this is just a scrimmage and it was against the Washington Wizards, who started Isaac Bonga at the three.

For Denver, though, Bol Bol's performance headlined a strange game, in which their star big man Nikola Jokic started at point guard. And, yes, they were able to pull away with a victory, squashing the Wizards 89-82.

We'll see if Bol's performance is sustainable.
