Midway through game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals, it seemed like it was going to be another one of those days. Isaiah Thomas was out, the Celtics were down by double digits, and the Cavs fans were wild with excitement and anticipation.
Every expert, every analyst, every fan thought this was going to be an old-fashioned sweep. But Finally, the Celtics said no.
With 0.1 seconds left on the clock, Avery Bradley saves the Celtics season and keeps them alive after knocking in a buzzer beating 3 pointer to win the game. Avery Bradley scored 20 points, with help from Marcus Smart (27 points, 7 assists, and 5 rebounds) who started in place of Isaiah Thomas.
Perhaps the only thing more shocking than the Celtics winning this game was the play of LeBron James who scored just 11 points.
With a Game 3 victory in hand, the Celtics are bound for a return for Boston. Could the Celtics make this a series after all?
