After months of speculation, rumors, and predictions, it appears that the Brooklyn Nets are coming out with the biggest win of the summer.
According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Nets are going to sign Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and DeAndre Jordan this offseason.
Kevin Durant will make a formal announcement on the Board Room Instagram at 6 pm.
Durant will sign a 4-year, $164 million deal, and Kyrie will agree to 4 years, $141. They will form a new superteam in New York, marking the end of Durant's tenure in Golden State, and a new one with the Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets are considered amongst the favorites for the 2020 NBA Championship after these slew of signings. As for the Knicks, they will continue their stretch of mediocrity as they watch their opposition from across the pond acquire the very players they were hoping to sign. Tough break for them.
