More often than not, NBA players are the last to find out about the moves and trades that go in the Association. This time, however, they're getting pretty involved in all the trade process thanks to the multiple reports on social media. Just like if they were fans.

And even if it may cause them some trouble or people will make fun of them, some players haven't shied away from the controversial rumors of James Harden potentially being shipped to the Brooklyn Nets. As a matter of fact, Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie took to Twitter to show how shocked he was by Harden turning down a $103-million extension to force a move to Brooklyn:

Dinwiddie didn't quite stop there, though, as he followed up that Tweet with a hilarious meme from The Simpsons that suggested that he's kind of nervous for what's about to come for him.

Spencer Dinwiddie is one of the most valuable assets the Nets can trade away right now. He's got a moveable contract, is entering the final year of his deal, and is good enough for multiple teams to inquire about him in the case the Houston Rockets aren't interested in keeping him.

Dinwiddie knows that any big move will most likely send him away from Brooklyn. However, as of now, it doesn't seem like the Rockets feel any kind of pressure to give them James Harden, as he still has three more years left on his contract.

Harden doesn't have a no-trade clause so the Rockets can pretty much send him wherever they want if a team offers them a better deal than the Nets. So, don't sweat it, Dinwiddie. Or perhaps he knows something the rest of us is yet to find out.
