After posting the NBA's best record before the hiatus, the Milwaukee Bucks are favored to win it all this season. But if they are going to win the title this campaign, they will have to do so without their starting guard Eric Bledsoe, who announced to Chris Haynes that he has contracted the Coronavirus.
He's been asymptomatic so far, but with play expected to start in a few weeks, he could miss some time and his absence will hurt the team.
As for who else on the Bucks may have been exposed, he was not with the team in Orlando so all indications seem to indicate that everyone else on the team is clear.
Either way, it's a bit of bad news for the Bucks, who are hearing up for a long and hard-fought battle for the title. Hopefully, Bledsoe will return before too long but, even then, nobody can really predict how things will turn out of when he will be able to rejoin his team in Orlando.
Bledsoe was averaging 15 points, 5.4 assists, and 4.6 rebounds on 48% shooting this season.
