Charles Barkley and Shaquille O’Neal are good friends in real life, which may be a surprise to some of the viewers who watch their show.

On “Inside the NBA,” the two are always seemingly at odds, and take absolutely no hesitation to roast each other live on the air.

Sunday night was no exception, and one clip of Barkley calling O’Neal ugly went viral on Twitter.

“7-feet guys who are like, wow, to be that big, that strong, and that fast, it’s hard to match it. Like the first time I saw Shaq in person I said, number one, ‘damn, he ugly.'”

Barkley was basically lauding the talent and game of bigs over time, including his friend, Shaq. O’Neal was an absolute monster during his playing days, proving to be bigger and stronger than anyone on the court.

Today, we still see some amazing feats by 7-footers like Giannis, Embiid, and Kevin Durant. It’s an interesting speech by Chuck who, of course, finds a way to squeeze in a jab at O’Neal.

It was a hilarious moment that even the big man himself couldn’t help but laugh at. And it’s moments like that which make the show so great and is why NBA fans from all over the world look tune in to watch these guys talk.
