Charles Barkley Weighs In On Potential Warriors-Suns Playoff Matchup: "Klay And Steph Don’t Have To Play Great For The Warriors To Win. Booker And CP3 Have To Play Great For The Suns To Win."

With the NBA All-Star break approaching soon and the reserves announced for the ASG, fans have already started to talk about the conclusion of the 2021-22 season. So much so that they are already discussing potential matchups in the postseason.

When we talk about these matchups, the potential fixture between the Golden State Warriors and the Phoenix Suns is arguably one of the more popular ones. Considering the competition in the Western Conference, it was expected that there will be a lot closer competition to hold the top seeds.

However, in reality, the two teams have separated themselves from the others. In fact, the Phoenix Suns became the first team to reach 40 wins before 20 losses this season. The credit for it goes to none other than the team's terrific duo of Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

The duo has done pretty well as they try to help the Suns win the NBA Championship. They reached the NBA Finals last season, so they have already proved that they are legit contenders.

As for the Warriors, they dominated the league for around half a decade. But after the Warriors dynasty was over, they made a comeback this season and have already established themselves as one of the best teams in the league.

If the two teams play in the postseason, it should be a sensational watch for the fans. But which side will win if this anticipated series turns into a reality? Well, here's what NBA legend turned analyst Charles Barkley thinks of it.

"The one thing that concerns me about the Suns, Klay and Steph against Booker and CP. Klay and Steph don't have to play great for the Warriors to win. Booker and CP3 have to play great for the Suns to win... Ayton's gonna get me 16-17, Booker's the only guy capable of getting me 30 and CP can get me 20, Booker is the guy. But the problem they got is, they got to guard them other two players. So that's gonna be a lot to ask in a seven-game series.

If the two teams face off in a seven-game series, it will certainly be a great one. But at the same time, the Warriors will most likely have an advantage over the Suns.

Although both teams have a great roster and superstars, the Warriors duo has a lot more experience when it comes to winning a series in the playoffs. This might turn out to be the deciding factor if the series takes place.
