Chris Boussard Says Kevin Durant Is Jealous Of LeBron

True, Kevin Durant and LeBron James are some of the NBA's biggest names.

But to say their fame is equal would be stretch.

LeBron is the one followed by the media. The spotlight follows him in every scenario, and he gets all the credit when the team does good or bad.

The attention we give James is honestly insane. And it's something Kevin Durant isn't a fan of. Here's what he said a few days ago...

“So much hype comes from being around LeBron from other people. He has so many fanboys in the media. Even the beat writers just fawn over him. I’m like, we’re playing basketball here, and it’s not even about basketball at certain points.

“So I get why anyone wouldn’t want to be in that environment because it’s toxic. Especially when the attention is B.S. attention, fluff. It’s not LeBron’s fault at all — it’s just the fact you have so many groupies in the media that love to hang on every word. Just get out of the way and let us play basketball.”

In light of these comments, NBA analyst Chris Broussard commented, saying it all stems from jealousy.

“I think these comments were rooted in jealousy because KD doesn’t like the way the media has treated him,” " target="_blank" rel="noopener">said Broussard in a recent appearance on Fox Sports’ Undisputed.

“But I would say, ‘KD, the criticism is [for] the burner account. Because you told a ‘fan shut the heck up.’ That’s what you’re criticized for.'”

To say KD has been harsh towards the fans and media is an understatement.

Since his arrival in Golden State, he has not been kind to anyone bold enough to criticize his moves. If KD really is jealous and wants the media to cherish him like they do LeBron than maybe he should consider being a little nicer.

If not (which is much more likely) than none of it matters to him anyway, does it?
