Anybody would be salty after getting knocked out of the playoff in the first round for the third consecutive season. It does not help that the loss came from a game-winning half-court buzzer beater from a guy that your team has been known to hate.

So when Paul George made comments about the ordeal in his post-game presser, nobody was particularly surprised.

Even so, Damian Lillard was not about to let him get away with it. In response to PG calling Dame's buzzer-beater a "bad shot," the 4x All-Star fired back, essentially calling George a bad sport.

"For him to say that's a bad shot, that's just kind of being a poor sport. If anything, it was bad defense, because I had the ball in my hands with 2 seconds and I wasn’t going to drive, so maybe he should've just bodied up."

From the footage, it does appear as if George gave Lillard too much space to pull up. As the second-best long-range sniper in the game, and known as one of the league's best closers, the Thunder should have made it more of a point to not let Dame get that shot off.

Nonetheless, there is nothing they can do about it now. Russ, Paul George, and the rest of the team will have to seriously look themselves in the mirror this offseason. Two straight disappointing playoff runs in a row is not a good look for a franchise loaded with talent.
