Damian Lillard isn't about entertaining fans or their narratives and he proved that on Sunday night after somebody tried to get something juicy off Lillard following the Los Angeles Clippers' 51-point loss to the Dallas Mavericks. The Clippers looked nothing like a contender team and the Mavericks took advantage of that, demolishing them at home with a 124-73 final result.

After the game was over, everybody was talking about that performance and one Lakers fan tried to inquire Dame about his honest opinion on that game. Well, the Portland Trail Blazers star wasn't having any of that and he made it clear that he wasn't interested in fueling any rumors of a feud between him and Paul George or the Clippers.

"Give it a break Bruv." Lillard wrote on Twitter.

Paul George was heavily criticized last year after choking in the second round of the 2020 NBA playoff against the Denver Nuggets. At that moment, Lillard and CJ McCollum took to Twitter to troll the Clippers. That was a great moment for everybody but now things are different and Lillard is not about that right now.

The season is just starting and the Clippers have the chance to bounce back and demonstrate they can compete for the championship. However, if these performances keep happening, it won't be long before the Clips start making drastic decisions.
