After missing months of the 2021 season, Timberwolves guard D'Angelo Russell made his return earlier this month, and has been balling ever since.

After Saturday's match against the Bulls, which they won by 4 (121-117), Russ was clearly feeling good, reiterating his enthusiasm with the following statement to the media:

Obviously, fans used the quote as fuel for some laughs, but it's good to hear D'Lo sounds so excited and committed to the game. Despite his talent, it's not a secret that his past has been a bit rocky.

In L.A., he was practically exiled from the team for his involvement in a situation with Nick Young. Then, in Brooklyn, he blossomed into an All-Star only to be sent packing in a trade involving Kevin Durant. Of course, he didn't last long in Golden State either, and got sent to Minnesota in a deal for Andrew Wiggins.

Since his arrival to his newest team, he has been dealing with injuries that have kept him sidelined. And now that he's healthy, it seems he's ready to prove what he can do.

The first order of business is to start winning games...
