D'Angelo Russell May Be Linked To Phoenix Due To Devin Booker

Like so many other stars this offseason, D'Angelo Russell faces a huge decision about his basketball future.

He made a name for himself in Brooklyn. And after earning a ticket to his first ever All-Star game, the 23-year-old star must decide if he wants to become the new face of the Nets, or if he wants to seek greener pastures somewhere else.

Although nobody knows what the future holds in store for him, there is the talk of his potential connection to the Suns. Devin Booker, one of his best friends, is making a name for himself there, and there is little doubt Phoenix would open the checkbook to sign D'Lo this offseason.

In response to the rumors, Russell did not exactly shoot down the idea, either.

A Book/Russell backcourt would be deadly. They both shoot the lights out and are under 25-years old.

But Phoenix will not be the only ones in pursuit of the Brooklyn star. D'Angelo is expected to have a number of suitors come free-agency, and every one of them might present a better situation than the Suns.

At least for now, though, we cannot discount the connection. In regards to recruiting stars (namely Russell), that might be the only thing Phoenix has going for them.
