The Los Angeles Lakers and the Los Angeles Clippers continue their quest for the throne of the Western Conference and this Sunday they'll clash once again in one of the most important games of the season for both teams.

The Lakers have lost the first two games of the season against the Clips. However, those losses don’t seem to bother the Lakers, who currently sit first in the Western Conference with a 47-13 record. The biggest factor in each of those losses has been the Klaw, Kawhi Leonard, who has made sure to let the Lakers know he's here to lead the Clips to win the title, regardless of the rival.

However, the Purple and Gold apparently have a new plan to try to stop the 2x NBA champion, who has averaged 32.5 points, 9.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists in 34.7 minutes per game against them. Besides, he's shooting 55.3 percent from the field and 50 percent from beyond the arc.

According to Danny Green, Leonard’s former Raptors teammate, the Lakers are ready to stop the Klaw at any cost and prevent the Clips from winning the regular season series.

“We all know his strengths,” Green told Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson of Heavy.

“We all know what he can do. Try to limit him as much as possible to not let him get to his spots and get comfortable in his rhythm. Do that and offensively make him work, put him in some screen-and-rolls out on the floor, space and have some good movement.”

Sunday’s clash has everything to be one to remember. The Lakers will try to earn their first win against their neighbors while the Clippers will try to win the third game of the series.
