The Los Angeles Lakers are entering a season in which they’re seen as the biggest favorites to win the title, but the Purple and Gold still raise some doubts about their performance heading to the 2019/20 NBA campaign.

The team has been questioned by some people due to the different players they have. However, that doesn’t seem to be a problem for their assets, including Danny Green, who believes he won’t have any problems playing with the Purple and Gold, especially with Anthony Davis and LeBron James, the two biggest stars of the squad.

Green has shared touches with great players in the past, including Tim Duncan and Kawhi Leonard and has made it clear he won’t have any problem teaming up with Davis and James, as he said during the Lakers’ media day last Friday.

“I think I’m going to fit perfectly fine alongside LeBron and Anthony Davis. Those guys are very good. They’re superstars at attacking and getting to the basket and pretty much doing everything. A lot of teams try to double-team them, and if you have floor space, it’s harder to double-team, so my job is really to play defense, space the floor and make it easier for them to operate one-on-one,” Green said.

Green has averaged 40.4% 3-point shooter in his career and is coming fresh off of a season where he averaged a career-high 45.5% shooting from 3-point range, on an also-career-high 5.4 3-point attempts per game. This guy is one of the best sharpshooters in the league right now, and his defense is as good as his offense.

Just like he said, Danny won’t have any problems trying to fit in the Lakers scheme this upcoming season. Having two superstars like AD and LeBron makes things a lot easier for him, so the Purple and Gold only expects him to deliver the same way he did with the San Antonio Spurs and the Toronto Raptors.
