Draymond Green Explains What Makes The Warriors Brotherhood So Special: "We Can't Do It Without Each Other But We Are Damn Good Doing It Together."

The Golden State Warriors are the most successful organization in the NBA since 2015. The team has been to the Finals on 5 occasions, winning 3 of those. A large part of this dynasty is based around team play and moving the ball, something embodied by their core of Draymond Green, Klay Thompson, and Steph Curry. And while Kevin Durant was a huge factor in two of those titles, the aforementioned trio has always been the heart of the franchise's most successful era.

One of the things that get talked about often is how Curry, Dray, and Klay wouldn't be able to achieve the things they have if they didn't fit together as well as they do in terms of playstyle. This has been evident this season, they barely played a game together and struggled, but at least Klay thought it was magical

It's not always been a very good argument because then no successful team would ever be able to truly count their wins, but Draymond Green finally addressed it during an interview with Steph Curry.

"You know there's always this notion of like, Draymond can't do it without Steph, or he can't do it without Klay. And I'll be 100% honest, I can't. On the flipside, Klay and Steph, Klay can't do it without Steph and Draymond, and Steph can't do it without Klay or Draymond.

"And I think for me, what we've built... It's not that I can't go on and do something else, it's not that you couldn't be successful playing with someone else, it's not that Klay couldn't go to the Lakers tomorrow and not be successful, it's not that. It just wouldn't be as beautiful as what we've been able to do together.

"And so, f**k everybody... f**k everybody who say I can't, or he (Steph) can't or Klay can't. You right, you win. I can't, we can't. We can't do it without each other. But we're damn good at doing it together. That's it."

Green is someone that speaks his mind with not much regard for what people might think of him. And while Steph and Klay might be having much flashier stats than Draymond, there is a lot of truth to his statement that the two wouldn't be able to win championships without him, it's something that has proved to be true throughout the years.
