Draymond Green Says He Talked To LeBron James About Winning 4 Championships: “I’m Telling You, It’s Crazy.”

In the aftermath of his fourth championship win, Draymond Green dialed up LeBron James to talk about life as a winner in the NBA.

According to Green, he and James agreed that going from three championships to four is a crazy and wild feeling.

“I was on the phone with Bron the other day, and I’m just telling him like ‘Bruh, going from 3 to 4 [rings] is insane’ and he was like ‘Yo, I’m telling you, It’s crazy.”

Draymond and his Warriors teammates put themselves in rarified air this season. After capturing some titles a few years back, the Dubs proved their relevance once again and showed the world that they are still capable of winning at the highest level.

But for Draymond and the rest of the Warriors core, it’s more than about being a team. Those guys are connected at a deep and very personal level.

“This journey wouldn’t be the same without those two guys [Steph and Klay] for me, and Andre as well,” Green said. "I couldn’t imagine sharing this journey with anyone else. We’ve always said, we’ve built this thing from the ground up. Our bond, it stretches far past what we’ve accomplished on the basketball court. Those bonds will last forever. We’re linked and connected together forever. So, to know that we’ve been on this journey together now for ten years, it’s such a special thing.”

It has been a wild ride for Golden State over the years. After enjoying so much prosperity, things took a turn for the worst in 2019, when both Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson were ruled out for the following season after a Finals loss to the Raptors.

Now, they are back in the driver’s seat. They control their destiny from here, and they have the means to dictate their fate for years to come.
