Dwight Howard Says LeBron James Will Allow Him To Shoot A 3-Pointer If He Blocks Two Shots Before

Dwight Howard is back with the Los Angeles Lakers, ready to reclaim the throne they lost last year. After a magical 2020 playoff run, the purple and gold were knocked out in the first round of the 2021 playoff by the Phoenix Suns.

Now they'll try to bounce back with an experienced team that features the likes of Russell Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, and Howard as new additions. This team is expected to compete for the championship and the players seem to be on the same page ahead of a challenging campaign.

They are all in good spirits, but that doesn't mean they don't have to follow the rules. In fact, Howard recently revealed the deal he made with LeBron James. The veteran big man isn't a reliable 3-point shooter, yet he still wants to try these shots during games.

Well, LeBron let him know that before attempting one triple, he must have two blocks on his stat sheet.

However, The King clarified that he meant two blocks per half, not two blocks during the entire game. This puts more pressure on Howard, but we're pretty sure he can complete the challenge.

The Lakers are in a very good place ahead of the 2021/22 NBA season. They all want the same thing: the NBA championship. This squad features big names, but they are ready to sacrifice and give their best for the team's sake.

Besides the Brooklyn Nets and Milwaukee Bucks, the Lakers are one of the top favorites to win the Larry O'Brien trophy next year. Chemistry is a big factor in winning, and this team has a lot of that.
