Despite doubts from the critics, the Los Angeles Lakers have picked up right where they left off last season: atop the West with dominant play on both sides of the floor.
But perhaps even scarier for the rest of the league is that L.A.'s ceiling might be even higher than it was before.
According to former guard Grant Hill, we will see improvement from the Lakers over the next few months...
“Where they are now…I think they’ll be better two months from now, which is scary for the rest of the NBA.”
Obviously, the Lakers aren't the same team they were last year. Thanks to several off-season moves, one could argue that they've actually become better.
Dennis Schroder, Marc Gasol, and Montrezl Harrell have added depth and potency to their roster, while also helping to relieve LeBron James of burden on both ends of the floor.
Regardless, it seems the Lakers are in a strong position to make a lot of noise this season, and the haters may not like how it ends...
