Dwight Howard has made his rounds around the NBA. In the past six years, he has played for the Rockets, Hawks, Hornets, and Wizards -- with every stop adding more damage to his already bruised reputation.

As he now prepares for his season with the Lakers, major questions about Dwight's attitude and personality have been raised. Last year, his presence behind the scenes was better but distant.

As described by Kelly Oubre, via TMZ Sports, Howard was a "psychological dude" who was "very down to earth" and NEVER a distraction. Overall, he said Howard was a good teammate, just a bit distant.

To be fair, the 8x All-Star was dealing with injuries that inhibited his abilities through the campaign. He was also fighting a battle destined to undermine his value to the league based on his personality and mental approach to the game.

It's hard to say how things will change in Los Angeles. Howard seems to be on the right track, with his work ethic up, mindset about winning, and humble in his approach. But will his actions reflect these newfound ideas?

For Dwight's camp and all of Laker land, they hope the answer is yes. But if not, the team has made it abundantly clear that they will not hesitate to move on.
