Giannis Antetokoumpo After Making An And-1 Against Marcus Smart: "I Can't F*****g Stand That P***y"

After entering NBA health and safety protocols on December 12, 2021, Giannis Antetokounmpo returned to the court after a break against the Boston Celtics. Although the Greek Freak hadn't played basketball for some time, he didn't let it show against the Celtics.

In fact, he powered the Bucks' sensational 117-113 victory over the Celts. In the victory, Giannis played 30 minutes and registered 36 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists.

It was great to see his usual dominant self in action after a gap of around two weeks. While Antetokounmpo's performance caught attention, it was another incident that truly gauged fans' attention. The incident took place during the third quarter when the two-time NBA MVP went for a layup.

In his path, he met Celtics guard Marcus Smart, who was trying to get an offensive foul call against the Greek Freak. Unfortunately, it backfired on Smart as the ref instead called it a defensive foul, leading to Giannis getting a chance at an and-1.

Upon this collision with Smart, Giannis was caught on camera calling out his opponent.

"I can't f*****g stand that p***y," Giannis mouthed to teammate DeMarcus Cousins.

Giannis' outburst was most probably the result of Smart trying to get a charge call by trying to slide under him. This rightfully angered the 2021 NBA champion as it could have led to an injury to him.

Fortunately, no one was hurt in this possession. Regardless of Marcus Smart and the Celtics' hard effort, Giannis was too much for them.

In fact, he has been quietly having yet another great season, leading the Bucks to one of the best records in the league. Following this sensational win against the Celtics, the Bucks have now moved to the third spot in the Eastern Conference with a record of 22-13.

They are now just 2.0 games behind the top-seeded Brooklyn Nets. Looking at the cut-throat competition in the conference, it will be a tough task for the Bucks to defend their title come postseason. However, having Giannis at the top of his game is a good start to climb fulfill that seemingly herculean task.
