Last season was certainly one for the history books. Giannis won MVP, the Raptors de-throned the Warriors to win the Championship, and Luka Doncic took the world by storm to win Rookie of the Year.

Bt now that it's over, and the new season is upon us, many are wondering what might be in store this campaign.

In their latest predictions, Bookmaker has Giannis Antetokounmpo as the odds-on favorite to win MVP, followed by Anthony Davis, Steph Curry, James Harden, LeBron, and Kawhi.

The oddsmakers also believe Zion Williamson will win Rookie of the Year honors at 2/5, followed by Ja Morant of the Memphis Grizzlies at 15/4 and Knicks rookie R.J. Barrett at 6/1.

Both Giannis and Zion are entering the season with big expectations on their shoulders. As the reigning MVP, Giannis will be called on to do more than just earn personal accolades -- he is expected to lead the Bucks to the Finals.

As for Zion, the hype surrounding his debut is similar to the hype that engulfed LeBron when he entered the league. His size, game, and mindset entering the year have many predicting he will be at an All-Star level before the end of the season.

With the season starting in less than a week, we will see in due time how each of the players perform with elevated expectations.
