Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks are among the favorites to win the Championship this season. Thanks to Giannis' dominant play and the talented roster that surrounds him, the Bucks are primed for a serious run this postseason.
But with everything that has happened recently, will this title even count for the same? According to Giannis, it's actually way tougher.
"This is going to be the toughest championship you could ever win."
He went on to say about the expected quality of play: “Guys are going to be rusty. You're going to see guys throwing the ball into the stands, turnovers. I think as guys get more comfortable, the level of basketball will get better each game."
After months of inactivity and distraction, one can definitely make the case that the path to a chip this season is harder than it's ever been.
Whoever wins will have to overcome amazing odds, including the Bucks. Just to get to the Finals, they'll have to get through teams like Philadelphia, Toronto, and Boston.
Long story short, it won't be easy, and the fact that Giannis knows it is a great sign. Hopefully, he can lead the Bucks to great places this summer.
