Giannis Antetokounmpo Turned Down Space Jam 2

Giannis Antetokounmpo: “I Should Be MVP Because I Don’t Care, I Just Care About Winning.”

LeBron James just keeps on struggling both on and off the court, as latest reports claim the King has been having a lot of trouble getting top-tier players to commit to joining him on Space Jam 2 this summer.

Notably, even his colleague and All-Star team captain Giannis Antetokounmpo turned him down, even though you could think a young, humble, rising star like him would be thrilled with the opportunity of joining the film.

However, the Greek Freak gently declined the King’s proposal, as he was reluctant to give up on his 2-week private workout in the summer, especially considering he’s trying to go deep in the playoffs and won’t have much time to prepare himself for next season.

“I don’t like being Hollywood. I don’t like all this extra drama. I’m just going to be me”, Giannis told ESPN’s Malika Andrews.

That’s exactly the kind of thing that makes Giannis stand out from the pack. He’s a workaholic that’s always willing to go the extra mile, that doesn’t want to take an easy way out, and that just doesn’t take a day off.

Kobe Bryant himself had nothing but praise for the Greek forward following their workout together, as it looks like he’s just determined to get better every single day and outwork every other guy in the gym.

No wonder why he led the Milwaukee Bucks to a 60+ win season and the best record in the NBA, and why he’s one of the frontrunners to take home the MVP award at the tender age of 24 years old.

During yet another breakout campaign, the former Most Improved Player of the year has excelled in all categories, posting averages of 27.7 points, 12.5 rebounds, 5.9 assists, 1.3 steals, and 1.5 blocks per game on 57% from the floor, and the sky seems to be the limit for a guy that just won’t stop until becoming the best player in the world.

As for Space Jam 2 and hoops fans all over the globe, it’s going to be a huge shame to miss on the chance to see Giannis posterize the Monstars, especially considering he could actually dunk from his own court as Jordan did in the 1st movie, or at least, it just feels like it.
