Giannis Antetokounmpo Wants To Increase His Social Media Followers: “Make Sure You Tag Me On Everything”

Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the most beloved superstars in the league. While the primary reason is his stunning on-court performances, his kind nature and hilarious moments also contribute to his popularity.

With the 2021 NBA Media Day underway, Giannis once again gave fans a funny moment. The Greek Freak was getting ready for a photoshoot and made a request to the people watching him.

"You're the one that got the followers. Make sure you tag me on everything, YouTube. I'm trying to increase my following. You know, you guys follow me on what's that called - Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Facebook. Like my page. I need more."

The 2021 NBA champion is apparently not happy with the number of social media followers he has right now. Well, he still has 10.7 million followers on Instagram, 1.9 million on Twitter, 2.6 million on TikTok, 73.2K subscribers on YouTube, and 3.2 million on Facebook.

But considering the polite request by the Greek Freak, we will comply with his request and follow him everywhere. You can check his social media accounts linked above.

Although Giannis is this humorous guy off the court, he changes gear when he is on the court. The most recent example? How about carrying the Milwaukee Bucks to an NBA Championships after 50 long years?

When he re-signed with the Bucks, many questioned his decision to stay with the team instead of forming a super team. Giannis wanted to win it all with the Bucks, after all, that's the franchise that gave him a chance in the league.

Since being drafted by the Bucks, we have seen him go through major changes. From being a lanky player to the beast that he is today, Giannis has had an amazing career in the NBA.

Moving forward, if he can get a few more NBA championships under his belt, he might enter the debate for becoming one of the best players in the history of the game.

The best part is he still has a lot of prime years left in his career, he will be turning 27-years-old this year. The goal for this year has to be to repeat last year's success and win back-to-back titles.
