Hasan Minhaj Tried To High 5 Michael Jordan But Got Body Slammed By His Body Guard: "He Nods To His Security Guard And His Security Guard Grabs Me By The Neck, Just Lifts Me Up And Boom!... The Whole Casino Stops."

Michael Jordan is one of the biggest icons in the world today. After a legendary career in the NBA, Jordan became one of the biggest stars in the entire world, a recognizable figure across the globe. And Jordan's star power has only grown over the years, to the point where he has become one of the most revered figures.

Comedian Hasan Minhaj experienced this first hand, but not in the positive way he had hoped. During an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, Minhaj revealed how he saw Jordan at a casino, where he ran toward him to try to high 5 him. Jordan, seeing him run toward him, instructed his bodyguard to handle it, who proceeded to body slam him to the ground.

“I just see him and I sprint towards Mike. And I just reach out. I’m reaching out for a high five. Like, I want his chocolaty hand to touch my chocolaty hand. Just like validate me. And he sees me. Then he nods to his security guard, and his security guard grabs me by the neck, just lifts me up and boom! Just body slams me into the ground and the whole casino stops.”

Jordan's reaction may have been a little extreme, but it is understandable. After all, it is unlikely that MJ knew who Minhaj was at the time, and seeing someone run at full speed with his hand raised would be cause for alarm. And Jordan must be cautious, given how popular he is in the world today.

Jordan has had interactions with public figures in the past, including comedians. Kevin Hart once revealed that he upset Michael Jordan with his jokes, causing Jordan to shake his hand really hard, and that was the last time he saw him. Clearly, comedians don't have a lot of luck meeting MJ.
