When it comes to drama, the NBA has you covered, and this ongoing saga between two former Boston Celtics is a prime example of just how much drama is created within the NBA, even when it involves a player who isn't even in the league anymore.
We're sure you've heard of the entire Isaiah Thomas and Paul Pierce debate, an argument which has gone on for the better part of two weeks now regarding whether IT should have a video tribute for his time in Boston held on the same night Paul Pierce gets his #34 jersey retired for the Celtics.
First Pierce said he didn't mind if IT was honored on the same night as his jersey retirement, but then flipped his stance on the issue, saying there wouldn't be room for a Thomas video package on a night dedicated to Pierce's career.
As you can see from the clip above, Pierce's co-analyst on ESPN Jalen Rose wasn't too pleased with PP's behaviour, calling him petty to his face because of the way he's acted about the whole situation.
Well, Isaiah Thomas obviously got word of the discussion between Pierce and Rose as he was the topic of said discussion, and decided to offer his support for Rose's statement over Instagram.
Even though IT did ask the Celtics to refrain from presenting any form of tribute video for him on Pierce's night, there may still be a hint of resentment there between the two former Celts.
