Ja Morant Congratulates St. Peter's After Beating His Alma Mater Murray State: "Big Time Win. And Congrats. It Doesn't Stop Now, Keep Going."

Ja Morant is one of the most exciting young players in the league. His jaw-dropping athleticism has wowed many fans, and his ascendance to superstardom has helped the Memphis Grizzlies become the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference.

Kevin Durant recently offered some big praise towards Ja Morant, claiming that he can "transform into anybody at any given point", and compared him to Hall of Famers such as Allen Iverson and Michael Jordan.

"He's a combination of players, I feel. I think the greatest players in our game can transform into anybody at any given point. And I think Ja's on the way to that. When he's playing, I see like two or three, four different Hall of Famers in his game. From [Allen] Iverson, to he might make a [Michael] Jordan-like layup, or he might run down the court like a [Russell] Westbrook or a [Derrick Rose].

"And his float game is up there with some of the best that's ever played. I don't want to gas him up too much since we're playing against him, but I think the sky's the limit for him. His future is obviously bright. He makes everybody better ... even opponents, so it's about the level you approach that game with and I'm looking forward to it."

Ja Morant has recently Tweeted about Kevin Durant's praise, claiming that Durant was a "real one", and it's clear that Ja Morant appreciated Kevin Durant's comments about him.

It remains to be seen if Ja Morant will end up having an accomplished career like some of the greats mentioned by Kevin Durant, but he certainly seems to be on the right track to be a Hall of Famer himself.

The Memphis Grizzlies are viewed as a contender this season, and we'll see how far they are able to go in the playoffs. With Ja Morant though, they have shown an ability to compete with the best of the best, and perhaps we'll see that translate to the postseason.
