We have seen many athletic guards with supreme athletic ability in the history of the NBA. Examples include Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Dwyane Wade. There's no doubt that those players were/are capable of insane athletic feats, and fans often admire their ability to get high above the rim.

Recently, Ja Morant was asked to list the most athletic guards in the game today. Morant listed himself, Anthony Edwards, and Zach LaVine, jokingly stating that he's "number one".

I'm number one though. I'm honestly going to go with Ant Man (Anthony Edwards). He's really athletic, get up the floor pretty fast. Zach LaVine... I'll just pick three.

Many people have lauded Ja Morant for his athleticism and his ability to finish near the rim. Kevin Durant once compared Ja Morant to former MVPs in Russell Westbrook and Derrick Rose.

"He's a combination of players, I feel. I think the greatest players in our game can transform into anybody at any given point. And I think Ja's on the way to that. When he's playing, I see like two or three, four different Hall of Famers in his game. From [Allen] Iverson, to he might make a [Michael] Jordan-like layup, or he might run down the court like a [Russell] Westbrook or a [Derrick Rose].

"And his float game is up there with some of the best that's ever played. I don't want to gas him up too much since we're playing against him, but I think the sky's the limit for him. His future is obviously bright. He makes everybody better ... even opponents, so it's about the level you approach that game with and I'm looking forward to it."

There's no doubt that all of the players listed by Ja Morant are extremely athletic, and we often see all three stars throw down dunks on defenders. Zach LaVine notably won two dunk contests in 2015 and 2016.

Hopefully, we see more amazing highlights from Ja Morant, Zach LaVine, and Anthony Edwards in the future. Dunks are always entertaining for fans, and all three players can make the crowd go wild when they get high above the rim and finish a dunk.
