Ja Morant Reacts To Draymond Green Saying That The Grizzlies Superstar Is The Young Player Who Reminds Him Of Himself: "Woo Dats Real Shii"

Draymond Green and Ja Morant have had their issues with each other this offseason. It all started, of course, with the Warriors and the Grizzlies facing off in the Western Conference Semifinals, as things got ugly in a hurry in that series.

Green started it all in Game 1 as he was ejected for a foul on Brandon Clarke, and when Dillon Brooks left Gary Payton II with a fractured elbow in Game 2, there was no going back. The Warriors would end up prevailing in that drama-filled series in 6 games, but that didn't put an end to the trash talk. These two went at each other in a series of tweets after the Warriors won the title, but things do seem to have finally calmed down.

Draymond was recently answering fan questions on the "Draymond Green Show", where he paid Morant the ultimate compliment as he said Ja is the young player who reminds him the most of himself. The news eventually reached Morant, who responded on Twitter.

"wooo dats real shii 💯"

It's good to see that things have cooled down a bit, but we can be sure that the intensity will go through the roof when these teams face off on the court. Green had claimed earlier this offseason that the Grizzlies would get a reality check next season, and the team has kept that quote for motivation in their weight room. This has all the makings of an exciting rivalry, but we hope that they can keep it clean if these teams do face off in the playoffs next season, as opposed to this past series.

We can be sure that the Warriors will be a factor when it comes to the business end of the season, and it is up to the Grizzlies to show some of their doubters that they are here to stay in what promises to be a loaded Western Conference.
