Jalen Rose: LeBron Has A Better Chance Of An Emmy Than Another NBA Title

LeBron James knew the ship was sinking in Cleveland last season and it resulted in the four-time MVP moving to the Los Angeles Lakers for a chance to take over the West.

However, after a lot of hope that LeBron could bring over star players like Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, and Anthony Davis, it looks as if the Lakers team won’t be changing very much next season. This isn’t ideal for the Lakers who know they’re still a long way away from winning a championship with this lineup.

Knowing that it’s now unlikely that Anthony Davis will end up in L.A next season, LeBron James recently said that he has nothing more to prove and that he isn’t chasing another ring.

“I have nothing left to prove, everything else for me is just like icing on the cake…there’s nothing I’m chasing”

Jalen Rose broke down and interpreted LeBron James’ comments on ESPN’s First Take. Rose believes that LeBron certainly knows that there is not a chance in the world that the Lakers can win a championship in the next few seasons.

“LeBron James has a better chance of probably winning an Emmy than he has of winning a championship in L.A.” Rose said on First Take.

Jalen Rose believes that by coming out and announcing that he has nothing left to improve was just something to say to ease the pressure from him. It does seem like LeBron will never get a chance at winning a fourth championship if this is the roster he has to work with. The Western Conference is so competitive that it’s hard enough just to make the playoffs at the end of the season.
