James Harden Gifted A Group Of Family And Friends $10K After He Saw Them Fishing For Food

It’s not a secret that James Harden is a beast on the court, considered one of the best players in the NBA right now. But, he’s also shown that he can be great even when he's not shooting 3's or driving his defenders crazy with his ball-handling skills.

Harden and some of his friends were riding four-wheelers around The Bahamas on Saturday, where he is training this offseason, giving cash to children and adults. Harden spotted a family fishing for food on an underpass and had a great gesture with them. The 2018 NBA MVP pulled over and handed the mother $10,000.

“The struggle is real,” she told him. “Thank you, James Harden. Thank you.”

Former NBA player and Adidas marketing manager Troy Payne caught the special moment on video and didn’t hesitate to share it with the world.

“Classy move bro!” Payne posted.

These kinds of gestures aren't new for the Houston Rockets star. He supports local kids through his charity 3thehardenway, as well, demonstrating that helping out others around him is something he does whenever he can.
