Jimmy Butler Doesn't Believe White Players Can Guard Him

Jimmy Butler is a 5x All-Star, 2x All-NBA Player, and 4x All-Defensive Player. He's a rough rider who's going to give it 110% every time he steps on the court.

No doubt, he thinks he can outplay anybody. But when it comes to being faced off against a white defender, he considers it almost insulting. At least, that's what JJ Redick and Duncan Robinson say.

According to them, Butler has an issue with being guarded by a white guy.

It's certainly an interesting mindset from Butler. Obviously, he believes in the stereotype that white guys are inferior to other races when it comes to the game of basketball.

But, overall, Jimmy Butler torches just about anyone in the NBA. He helped lead the Heat to one of the best runs in the East this season, averaging 20 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 6.1 assists on 45% shooting. Butler signed a 4-year deal with the Heat last summer, with hopes of helping them earn another Championship.

COVID-19 put a temporary dent in their plans and it's unlikely that we will see the team complete their run this year. But don't be surprised to see them dominate in the next few seasons to come.
