James Harden is well on his way to another MVP this season, averaging 37.9 points, 8 assists, and 6.1 rebounds on 43% shooting. On the offensive end, his wide-variety of scoring tactics make him difficult to stop.

According to Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler, Harden is the most unstoppable player in the league.

The guy is averaging 39-and-a-half points. In the streets, that’s 40. That’s James Harden. I mean, he’s a lefty. You want a mid-range pull-up, you want a floater, you want a layup, you want a dunk, you want a free throw.

He’s legendary for his step-back. You can say that it’s a travel, you can say it’s not a travel. Ref doesn’t call it, so I’m all for it. Find a way to stop it, travel or not.

Coming from a guy in Butler who has been named to an All-Defensive team four times in his career and is regarded as one of the best perimeter defenders in the game, that's pretty high praise for the Beard.

It's hard to make a case against it, either. There really isn't anything Harden can't do on offense, and he seems to be clicking more and more each year (he has averaged over 30 points each of the last two seasons). But, more importantly, the Rockets are benefiting. Though the team has struggled in the postseason, they have always been a consistent threat in the Western Conference, no doubt because of Harden and his abilities to score so effortlessly.

He truly is unstoppable.
