The Minnesota Timberwolves' Jimmy Butler isn't pleased with the young Wolves right now.
Reports have been surfacing over the past week communicating that Butler is apparently ‘fed up’ with the lack of commitment to the game shown by teammates Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins. He's so fed up in fact, that he doesn't plan on extending his contract with the Wolves when they eventually offer him a max contract extension sometime in the coming months.
Rumors are floating around the Butler is looking to team up with Kyrie Irving somewhere in the future, with the New York Knicks being the leading candidate to acquire both Butler and Irving in the summer of 2019 when the pair become free agents.
But what if Butler doesn't really want to be a member of the Knicks?
Jimmy Buckets' latest Instagram activity may indicate that the All-Star shooting guard wouldn't mind playing under coach Gregg Popovich in San Antonio.
Butler could either be heavily into the idea of joining up with LaMarcus Aldridge down in Texas, or he's simply liking the comment in general to show how badly he wants out of Minnesota.
Whatever the case, Minny better get going to try and repair relations with Butler before he books it out of there.
