The coronavirus pandemic is making waves throughout the world and here in the United States. As schools, businesses, and sports leagues fall under lockdown, the lives of everyone here on earth have been changed -- and will likely continue to be for the next few months.

The NBA, in particular, is facing a lot of daunting questions about the future. What will happen if this NBA season can't return? How will the loss in revenue impact the salary cap going forward?

In regards to the Draft, executives around the league are preparing for a scenario in which the entire process is done online.

To have a Draft without going through the normal process would be unprecedented. Never before have teams had to choose their picks via Skye and without so much as a workout with any of the prospects.

The timing of this is also in question. If this pandemic continues to linger in the next few months, it could set everything back into the fall.

No matter which way you look at it, it's a trying time for the NBA. And despite people's best efforts to adjust, everything just feels so wrong.
