Clarkson predicted the landing spots of D'Angelo Russell, Kyrie Irving and Julius Randle
Former Los Angeles Lakers player Jordan Clarkson has had a really fun weekend, giving us some good headlines about what could happen in the association in the next days. The NBA offseason is finally here and apparently, not only analysts get to know valuable information these days, but players too.
In fact, the Cleveland Cavaliers guard took on Twitter to make three NBA free agency predictions in just nine words, which would solve one of the biggest questions ahead of free agency. It’s crazy to see how he did it, but Clarkson predicted the future teams of D'Angelo Russell, Kyrie Irving and Julius Randle, three intriguing names on the upcoming free agent market.
It’s kind of interesting to know how Clarkson knows about this, or maybe he’s just playing around to see if he can guess right on any of those players. It’s fair to say that Jordan and D’Lo were teammates in Los Angeles, and perhaps he knows where D’Angelo would like to play next season if the Nets are able to land Kyrie Irving.
That is exactly why people are wondering where he will go next campaign; although Russell has stated he’s cool with Kyrie Irving going to Brooklyn, maybe pairing him up with the former Cavalier doesn’t sound like a very good idea for the team or for any of the players involved.
As for Randle, he already stated he will become an unrestricted free agent this summer and is expected to get a big contract, something that the Nets can afford if things go like Clarkson predicts.
Clarkson hasn’t been the only one dropping hints on D’LO going to Phoenix, as the Suns are ‘highly interested’ in landing him according to reports.
