Kawhi Leonard On Toronto Raptors: "I Think We Have A Good Chance Of Getting To The Finals"

Kawhi Leonard

A while ago, Jayson Tatum told the world that the Celtics were going to the Finals. It's an exclamation that, while some are having doubts, makes a lot of sense when you look at their roster. The Celtics were the favorites to start the year, and many are still holding to that.

Even still, it's hard to argue that the Raptors are very far behind, especially after their most recent trade for Marc Gasol.

In fact, if you ask Kawhi Leonard, it'll be them who takes the East instead of their rivals to the south.

"I think the organization did a good job of trying to make us better down this last stretch," Leonard said at media day for the 2019 NBA All-Star Game. "Like I said before, time will tell where our journey is going to end, but I think we have a good chance of getting to the Finals and winning it. But we still got a lot of work to do."

With Kawhi, Marc, and Kyle Lowry, the Raptors are ready to make a serious run this postseason.

But with the Bucks, Sixers, and Celtics waiting for them, it'll be anything but an easy affair. And Kahwi is right, they've still got a lot of work to do.
