The Los Angeles Lakers enter the Orlando bubble as the leading team in the Western Conference. They've added some nice pieces on Dion Waiters and J.R. Smith to an already impressive core, although the losses of Rajon Rondo and Avery Bradley could be tough to overcome.

Even so, former NBA player and ESPN analyst Jalen Rose claims the Los Angeles Clippers have the edge because of how much depth. Needless to say, that instantly triggered Kendrick Perkins, who went as far as to claim that the LeBron James-Anthony Davis duo is the best in the league since Shaq and Kobe:

“Listen, when we talk about LeBron and Anthony Davis, we’re talking about the best duo since Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal, how can you stop them?” Perkins started.

The ex Celtics went on to laud the King's play at age 35, adding that the Lakers also have the most Championship experience among all the teams currently in the Orlando bubble.

“He is playing some of the best basketball of his career at the age of 35 but the thing that separates Lakers from any other team, in my opinion, is that they have the most championship experience other than any team in the league," the former NBA champion continued.

Perkins has a valid point. Even though the Clippers seem to have the most talent, James had already led his teams to 9 NBA Finals (8 consecutive), and has proven to be one of the greatest leaders of all time:

“They have so much experience, they have so much leadership. Who’s the best at being a leader and the floor general in the league, LeBron James, and with this style of play, no fans on the court, he’s going to excel at a high rate," Perkins concluded.

LeBron is also going to have 4 months of full rest so we're going to see a version of him we had never seen before in the playoffs. At this point, it's tough to give the edge to any of those two teams. It'll be a battle for the ages.
