The 2020-21 season is just a little over two weeks away, and the Houston Rockets are a hot mess.

After a wildly disappointing season, they made several staffing changes including their GM Daryl Morey and head coach Mike D'Antoni. Soon after, trade requests came in for both Westbrook and Harden, leaving Houston with some even bigger decisions to make.

At this point, only Westbrook has been shipped out of town and, even with all the respectable roster moves they made, H-Town still can't quite convince James to re-commit for at least a little while longer.

Fast forward to this weekend, and Harden is being spotted in nightclubs rather than with his team, in practice, preparing for the upcoming season.

According to Kendrick Perkins, the whole thing is making H-Town look like a joke.

Whether or not Harden plans on returning to his team this season, failing to show up to practice on the first day isn't a good look considering hos things ended in the bubble. Perkins' comments only emulate what a lot of other fans are feeling...

With several major pieces gone, it will be a new challenge for the Rockets to rebuild their chemistry as a team. Harden ghosting them now might have an impact that goes beyond their legacy as a team.

But we'll see soon enough how the Rockets are able to perform and what kind of impact this current situation will have on their season.
